Prenatal Yoga & Family Yoga

PRE/POSTNATAL YOGA

Our Pre/Postnatal Yoga classes focus on a gentle, yet strength-building practice, accessible to all students regardless of their yoga experience or stage of pregnancy.

We will focus on a mindful, moderately challenging class, involving safe stretching, strengthening the core and pelvic floor muscles, building endurance, and closing each class with a short, guided relaxation. We will address common problems that pregnant/postpartum persons experience ranging from back or pelvic pain to heartburn, mental and emotional stress, and learn breathing techniques to prepare for labor. All pre/postnatal classes are Transgender, Non-binary & Queer Inclusive. 

There are no requirements in our classes, except to take care of yourself. We encourage students to listen to their bodies and take breaks, drink water and rest if necessary.

This class is open to pregnant/postpartum persons only, and is not a partners workshop. We aim to cultivate a community with other pregnant/postpartum persons and facilitate open sharing. We will offer partner prenatal workshops several times a year. Please check back for dates.

BABY & ME YOGA (6WKS TO CRAWLING)

Baby & Me Yoga uses interactive forms that include your baby to strengthen your core, improve your posture, and give you tools to relieve your stress through restorative forms, meditation, and breathing techniques. This class is wonderful to safely move and the bond between you and your baby.

FAMILY YOGA (AGES 3-8)

Family Yoga is a great way to step away from the every day hustle and bond with your child(ren)! This class includes yoga forms, games, and breathing techniques that you can recreate at home!
